Is it true love??
TOXIC RELATIONSHIP
-Let me start by defining what a toxic relationship is actually???it basically means that where one feels less supported, misunderstood, demeaned or attacked where he or she has no freedom to express himself or herself.
-Example of a toxic relationship is one which stops bringing joy and instead consistently makes you feel sad, angry, anxious or resigned. When one is in a toxic relationship it is not so easy to notice the red flags, but there are common signs that shows it all.
I)LACK OF SUPPORT- You don’t feel supported or encouraged, and you can’t trust them to show up for you. Instead, you might get the impression that your needs and interests don’t matter, that they only care about what they want.
II)TOXIC RELATIONSHIP - Instead of kindness and mutual respect, most of your conversations are filled with sarcasm or criticism and fueled by contempt.
III)ENVY OR JEALOUSY - While it’s perfectly fine to experience a little envy from time to time, Caraballo explains it can become an issue if your envy keeps you from thinking positively about your partner’s successes.
IV)CONTROLLING BEHAVIOURS –Does your partner call or text and if you don’t pick pick he or she gets pissed off.
V)LACK OF SELFCARE - You might withdraw from hobbies you once loved, neglect your health, and sacrifice your free time. This might happen because you don’t have the energy for these activities or because your partner disapproves when you do your own thing.
1.Don't dwell on the past. Sure, part of repairing the relationship will likely involve addressing past events.
2.View your partner with compassion.
3.Start therapy.
4.Find support.
5.Practice healthy communication.
6.Be accountable.
7.Heal individual.
8.Hold space for the other's change.
And giving up your life because someone it’s not always a solution.
